The Tokyo Drift Veilside RX-7's (2 in total) were assembled in Japan prior to the movie. A good friend of mine and close colleague, Miguel from Newera Imports is the rightful owner of both of these vehicles.

To date, the later model RX-7 is sold to a well deserved customer in Australia. And the second earlier model was coincidentally just released today from a well known body shop here in Kanagawa Japan. It received some minor touch ups and from what I hear looks super clean now.

Feast Auto will have a shot of selling the earlier model very soon so looking forward to the upcoming photo shoot to document the vehicle.

Here is a recent photo I took of the later model RX-7 Miguel has;

hi adam,
you might not recall but weve have spoken several times before,the rx7 in the pics i posted is actually 1 we have built from scratch i have the pics to prove this approx 500 pics to date the car is not finished by all means the interior needs finishing and the headlights need the black surround i belive this is 1 of something like 12 replicas exact number im not sure,THIS IS NOT A NEWERA CAR weve been working on this car with a few people in the uk pretty quietly for about 5 months,

our customer who were doing the car for contacted miguel 1st about a film car then spoke to me and from then on we started to build 1 from scratch,we could have bought 1 from veilside but chose not o our customer was looking at buying the bently blue and black one again choose not too,

this car will be perfect to date its very amazing the gaps the little bits people dont think off like access to the rear light bulbs etc the custom made spare wheel and wheel well,

this is not a film car and certainly has not been rushed in anyway
