Some of you may remember I sold my S15, bought an Evo that cost me a fortune:eek::rolleyes:, then bought a BMW Z3 M Coupe (clownshoe). Well, I got bored of my BMW as N/A power just doesn't do it for me, fun car to drive though and extremely rare. So before I sold that I went out and bought an Audi RS4 but the 2.7 bi turbo as I'd always liked them. I've had the car since August now and there's only one other car that's given me the kicks the Audi does and that's The S15. Odd comparison, I know. The Audi will do some insanely stupid speeds and I love the fact it's an avant. I've done a few things to it since I bought it, like, lowered it, fitted a new lightweight flywheel and clutch, also just bought some new rims for it. It already had a remap with launch control and anti lag, upgraded brakes and a modified exhaust on it, so it's a pretty good all rounder. The only problem with it is running and servicing costs!! I've spent thousands on it in the last 5 months, totally worth it though:D

Here's a few pictures..

When I bought it

And a bit more recently

Alright, Adam, how's things? Yeah, I like to try out as many cars as possible but I've really found a love for the Audi. I contemplated the V8 but they suffer badly with carbon build up in the inlet system and it costs thousands to rectify and they suffer huge power losses from it, besides the older 2.7 is much faster and has far more tuning potential. Mine is running 430bhp at the moment, a better exhaust and a set of Wagner intercoolers will see me at pretty much 500bhp, which is pretty rapid in one of these.

I looked at S15's before the Audi, Chris, just nothing ticked the boxes I was after. There was a Saphire blue S14a that came up for sale last summer with 520bhp and BBS LM's for £10k and I tried to go and view it but it sold before I got there, which I was a bit gutted about.

Not sure if this works, but this is what I get to enjoy :D

Good work and very good choice, B5 is also quicker then the B7  I was little bit the opposite as I had the B7 Saloon 4.2 for a few years and have just recently sold it and bought an S15 as I wanted to shift away from the comforts of a 4WD for a little while. (good or bad decision TBD) That been said I will definitely be buying one again in the future without a doubt. The car was solid as a rock.

decoke nowadays on the B7 is around £500-£700 and probably will only ever need to be done once really. (dont ever go to the stealers) Owned mine for 3 years and put 23K+ miles on it. Dynod just before I sold it at 411.9.

I do love the sound of the V8, and they rev like no other. The V6 turbo does sound immense on full chat too. The B7 is a great looking car, and they do come with the choice of the Pole Positions. I looked at buying a pair for the B5 but I can't justify nearly £2k on just two buckets seats :wack:. Rear wheels drive will bring lots of fun, especially over the summer.

I think I'll be keeping this car for a while
