Evening all, the few of you that are on my fb will know this already but I have a new motor to replace the Pathfinder... Which replaced the 15(temporarily!)

I've bought a Premier Edition EP3 (boo hiss)

I'll let the spec speak for it's self but its a credit to the last owner and wants for nothing other than finishing touches.

Externally it is completely oem so attracts no attention, the guy was a teacher and couldn't have a "chav" civic. But under the bonnet, far from stock.

Black wrinkle cam cover,
Cusco front brace,
Rear arms,
Eibach 15mm progressive springs,
Camber bolts,
Short shift nuespeed kit,
Carbon plug cover,
Poly bushed rear trailing arms/front wishbones,
2.5" b pipe,
Dc sports mani,
JR Supercharged with 8psi pulley & both auto/manual tensioner,
KPRO inc 6 maps- tdi/Eurospec maps,
ITG Maxogen filter,
Intake hose,
Clockwise baffled sump - latest revision,
JDM rear arb,
Gearbox with mfactory diff
Siemens Deka 630cc injectors,
Rigid subframe kit,
Hid 4k light kit,
Hybrid Racing gearbox and gear shift/lever bushes inc spherical bearing,
Brembo discs, braided stainless lines, ferodo ds2500 pads, motol fluid.
F/R engine & gearbox mount inserts.

Running 294.9bhp on Eurospec hub dyno, which is hear are conservative compared to some.

It pulls like a train and is so so fast and the mfactory diff makes a world off difference!

I'll try post pics but I don't have wifi in the flat yet so having to do it with tapatalk!

:)

Lovely spec though mate and the premier had nice seats didn't it?
I like the black crinkle rocker too looks way classier than the red
Bet it shifts! That sort of power and Jackson chargers are pretty awesome man

Pfffft says you with a body kit worthy of a hotwheels car! :p

Yeah the actual Recaro's. Excuse the boxes in the back! Bloody flat pack furniture.

Putting the zeta in drivers side this week though.

Cheers guys, yeah It was more than a normal ep3. But given the spec justified. Was cheaper than a lightly modded spec-r.

Hah! Yeah I want to keep it oem looking but add more subtle stuff only the trained eye would spot. A carbon bonnet sprayed back to grey with aero catches etc!

What's it like in regards to easy driving and speed in comparison to your spec r?

Sounds like a nice touch mate! I have seen carbon painted so you can still see the weave through it, that would look awesome! Sure you will make it even better your 15 was sweet

Day to day I'd say unless you'd driven a stock type-r you might not notice! But compared to normal it fires up much buzzier and sounds purposeful with a fast idle. The ride is a lot firmer, that's the main thing I've noticed. The poly bushing really does work. The diff isn't to noticeable in normal driving. I drove one with a spoon plated diff few wheels ago and it was a nightmare on the road. But the mfactory is forgiving enough when around town but whilst spirted it pulls you round the bends! Performance wise is where it's strange for me as I've never driven a k20 that pulls low down. This will pull though out then going banzai through vtec. Think it made just under 220 torque so it's a strong one(as they go).

I did a trip to tesco in it yesterday and you only thing that caused me trouble was speed bumps and where to park!

I'd struggle to say which was faster between the s15 and this. The r weighs 1300kg and has 295bhp. I feel alot of big cars would struggle to deal with it in the real world aslong as you can put the power down up front.

I'll try make some videos or something, there's a airfield day next week I'm very tempted to go to aswell! :p

loving the Q-ness
Lost me there bud, Q-ness?

Hot wheels cars are awesome! It's what I modelled mine on! Expect I couldn't get the 20"wheels on mine! :)

it looks cool mike, I do like ep3's but would have to have a ek9 or dc5 over one. But then you pay more for less!

It would be a really close contest with an S15, stock 15 would be beaten by it but modded one like most of ours would eat it up I reckon! But I would say that.... The proof is in the pudding! Lets race!

Left my mates dc5 like it was a fiesta ha ha and that's running 245 Iirc on track I bet it would be a lot of fun the way it's set up mate, be interested to see a vid if you do go for it

I did Keevil in November! Was really good day out, Did about 90 miles total! You should defo have a go mike! I wish I could afford to do it this month. I used 3/4 tank and half my tyres so it really ain't too expensive!

Yeah first place i asked, only issue for me is they say they'll be 6-8 weeks in black. And as they're not a stock item they want the whole lot up front. :/
