headlights left side not working

Hi guys,

my left headlight has suddenly stopped working, i have aftermarket plug n play HIDs they have worked a charm up until now, i have tried a different set of HID's and it works for a bit, then dies again,
i tried taking it out and just putting a standard globe in and it still doesnt work.
the fuses are okay i have also replaced them. iv tried different grounds, i dont think its a dodgy connection.
co incidentally my mates 33 skyline has the same issue. yet to work out what it is

if you car substantially lowered? If so check for damage to the wiring loom on the inside of the drivers guard. I would double check the grounds and the connector at the globe. It's hard to say without having a look at it.
