radio problem

when i turn on the radio it works grand but when i turn off the car
and take the key out the radio stays on
is dare 2 power wires behind the radio the only one i can find is
a yellow one...
anyone have any ideas

yeah your wirings wrong mate you should have a constant 12 volt supply then a acc 12 volt supply, the constant supply is regardless of the key in or out/key position, the constant supply is used for memory and the acc supply to turn your radio on or off

the yellow one is constant +12v and the red will be switched ignition +12v.

You use the yellow wire to keep your memory in the head unit (ie. preset radio stations) and the red wire to switch it on and off.

If both wires are there (red and yellow) swap them over on the wire going into the headunit if that makes sense.

no prob mate, it is a common mistake. People think the red wire is +12v constant, but it's the yellow one that is.
