Convert an Impul Hi-Power Control Unit into Nistune??

Today i removed the ECU from its place to install the arrived Nistune Board.
What do i see?
An Impul Hi-Power Control Unit

Is there a way to flash it?
Maybe with the Nistune Software?

If not, is it possible to remove the Impul daughter board and then install the Nistune Typ4 daughter board... Does it work?

Can you post up some pictures?
My guess (but only a guess) is that if fits in the same place the NIStune does.
Therefore you have to remove it and then fit the NIStune board.
I've already ordered NIStune, should have it fitted around March.
No time to fit it now, my car will be on a boat bound for the UK in a weeks time!

Today I tried to read out the Data from the Impul ECU with Nistune Software, that doesn´t work.
But maybe I made a mistake, I´ll find out tomorrow.

If you unscrew the Impul daughter board does it connect to a main board at the back with a ribbon cable?
My uneducated guess is it probably does in which case you would have to de-solder the Impul and install the NIStune.
If you are really unsure you could try the PLMS or NIStune guys for advice as they'll know how if all works.
I'm sure someone on eBay will give you lots of money for a Impul daughter board...

I registered @ the Nistune Forums to ask there, but I´m still not activated there...

I thought also to bring it to ebay, but it seems like there are not many people who know about the Impul ECU...

I tried to read the Rom again today, with Calumsult, but no way.
Seems like the ECU is locked.

I think I will sell the Impul Hi-Power Control Unit und buy a stock S15 ECU.
