What is this?

Been doing some rattle hunting today, and found this wound up in my passenger footwell

Could it be related to these on my windscreen?

They don't seem to go anywhere, could it have been an aftermarket immobiliser or alarm?

Any help would be appreciated

if you dont know what it is, just pull it all out its making your car go slower by adding weight.....

Haha! I would bit it's all nicely pinned in behind the dash and disappears toward the centre console. Be a shame to rip it out to find that it might be useful!

Japanese/toyko congesting charging hardware maybe? Mine has some funny grey box that takes a card, and if you accidentally hit the buttons it scares the **** out of you by talking to you in Japanese

My old one had one of these boxes too...

1). Cut wires
2). See if anything has stopped working
3). If all is good, rip out and throw in bin
4). If not, re-attach :rotfl:

But i've got nothing like that in mine so can't be standard. I pulled shed loads of crap out of mine including an un-wanted turbo timer, cd changer in boot, RF signal box thing under passenger carpet etc lol

Is it a clear thing on the windscreen with wires through it ? Could be tv antenna as I have them in mine ...

^^ Yes, looking at those plugs and windscreen antenna I'd say it was an on board TV
