Earth issues

Got the dreaded hum coming through the stereo and my HID flicker occasionally. Also one bulb doesn't always come back on after flicking to main beam.
I Looked at the earth points can't see any corrosion etc.

Seen those ground loop stabilisers but not too sure if it will help?

just check your wiring going to your bulb connector a mate had the same problem with his light and it turned out to be corroded wires going to the plug. hope this will help a bit

where are the power and earth wires for the stereo hoocked up too, first pull the head unit and check and redo the wires if need to be better connections and DONT t into other power or earth sources,

get a multi meter, set it to ohms and stick the black onto your earth on the battery, the stick the red to the earth in the back of the headlight plugs and if you get anything other then 0000 or no resistance look at the earth wiring going to your lights, and put a mirror up under your dash column and check for signs of rust or corrosion as this will mean you may have it on some wires too, while you are under the bonnet put it on other points on your engine to ensure you engine has a good earth, its amazing how much crap can go wrong due to bad earths

Got a grounding kit to slap on one day this week.

Headunit is all good, think it could be the ground on my amp in the boot.
