Loom/heater problems

my loom had been moved up above the arch but on the last dwyb day ive manged to start rubbing into it. so i took the wing off and cleaned the wires up and any that where broken ive cut and joined with new wire then taped up. ive also cut into the arch to give the loom more clearance now but on the way home from the last dwyb day where this happened i lost the heater and wanted to know if any of the wires in the loom are linked to the heater? fuses are all good. im not very experianced with electrical problems but its pissing me off that the car steams up when im driving.

Any ideas and help is much appreaited

right ive checked the whole loom again but none of the internal wires are showing, no water and all the repairs are good. But still no power running to the head unit. is there a relay anywhere?

Bump I have similar problem now.

Heater display shows up, you can hear when I switch directions of blower but no dan, nothing blowing out???
