Standard S15 Diff.

Or if anyone knows where there is an S15 breaking that would be helpful too

I want to swap it out for my current Nismo Diff, so I might be tempted to swap my current diff with someones standard diff if anyone is interested?

Darren, just swap it man! S15 diffs come up few n far between and go for £350+ just for the internals, let alone in the case.
A locker is £500 odd new (been a while since I checked) plus fitting in the case(another £150 ish).
If it were me Id take the man up on the offer

Yeah when you put it like that I guess your right.

We only need to swap the internals though as Ive got a standard pumpkin on mine.

Im sure Ill bump into StarletRick at JAE so we can talk about it there, plus he might not even want it yet :rotfl:

Hey ScarletRick.

Didnt bump into you at JAE :( (if you were there?)

If your serious about swapping diffs with me then give me a pm and we can have a proper chat about it.

Im quite happy to take you out in the car so you can see if you like it first

Still trying to find one of these...

Anyone know of any S15s in scrap yards anywhere in the UK?

Still be up for a swap too.

Bump!

Hey guys, just a quick question

How long does the Helical diff last if it gets thrashed quite often? I have a 2 way that I want to swap with another friend which has the stock helical(his car done about 60k km), just wondering if it will have any problems with the helical diff, dont want an open wheeler as well.

Thanks

Shouldnt really be a problem as theyre mechanical too (the viscous diffs give up the ghost after 70k miles or and open up really really easy).

Just make sure its had regular oil changes :)
