Gear Gaiter base

*Ashtray sorted*

As above i'm looking for the plastic bit the gaiter is attached to.

I'm not sure what it looks like on the Spec R (if someone could send me a picture, that would be great), but here is the situation i'm in which i will explain using pictures:

Picture of gaiter base (Need an S15 6 speed one):

Here is what i have and you can see i'm missing one piece

So if anyone has this lying around or knows where to get one, it would be much appreciated

I could but i'm what you call a perfectionist :p Even if it looks perfect, I know its not the proper job therefore i can't do it :(

Thanks for the input tho, if it comes to it, i'll have to make do with some cable ties!

You can do it as a temporary measure :)

In theory there will be gaps between the areas which aren't cable tied down but you could use some adhesive spray for those areas.

It is starting to sound a little more troublesome now right?

Worst case you can try send a PM to Roachy; he broke a few S15's in the past, he might have some spares lying about

Roachy has none unfortunately :( I'm after realising that the Spec R gaiter base is much smaller than the Spec S so i will probably head to the nearby Nissan dealer for a price. Would i be right in saying its the part number highlighted in blue that i'm after?

Nope, just checked and its the exact same diagram for all models!

The part number that's on the base in my original post is 96935 85F00 which is the 96935 bit in the picture above

And i found three different variants here:

Also need one, as the clips on mine are broke and it keeps popping out.

Be interested to know what the Nissan price is.

Just back from Nissan and they gave me a quote of €95 which is roughly £82 and would take a few weeks to arrive. The reason for the cost is

a) Its Nissan
b) The gaiter itself and the base must be bought together

Don't know what to do now as i can't justify paying €95 on something i only want half of

That's what i'm trying to fit onto my car but the yashio gaiter is too small for the base i have :( I'm not too keen on waiting for weeks tho.

When i searched i found 3 part numbers, don't know what each one is but they are;

96935 85F00
96935 85F10
96935 85F40

I gave him the 1st one and he came back with that quote
