Quick question cos i have complety forgotten it. Whats SR20DET stand for again?

SR = engine series, 20 = 2litre engine size, D = double overhead cams, E = electronic fuel injection, T = turbo (the best bit) :thumbs:
What does "SR" stand for if anything?
I know that RB as in RB26DETT means "Race Breed".
But what about the SR?

i don't think that was the true meaning.
I think those initials were just made for nothing. or maybe codename or porject type??
What I'm saying is that they just used those letters just because they wanted to.
It's same as "why is this called a car?" "Because we just call it a car" :) :D
S = Sports
R = Rear wheel drive
