View Full Version : Parker lights.
Hi all,
I replaced my parker lights (the wedge looking things) about 3 months ago. Now all of a sudden both of them have stopped working. Maybe both of them have blown... but i thought i would ask whether there is a fuse for the parker lights.
10 amp, in the box in the engine bay. See the fuse diagrams (http://download.jull.net/s15/s15_fuse_diagrams.pdf) :)
Which one?
The parker isn't listed.
just check all the fuses
Its the tail lamps. Should be the same circuit.
Strange..... I put the old parker bulbs back in and they work. No fuses were buggered..... both LED parkers blew at the same time.....

Probobly something with the LEDs then.
I think LED require less current. So might be that they blew because of to much power.
Might want to try talking to an electrician or something. You could get away with fitting a resistance before the LEDs.
What do I know :)
I only work as an electrical consultant :D
Only a CAD-drawer, so don't know jack about this :)
Aha. Did you try them the other way round? Many LED bulbs, particularly 501 style blade types, are polarity specific.
EDIT: just re-read that they were already working...
